PRAIA GRANDE HOUSE
A Symphony of Nature and Design
Built by Green Heritage and designed by AtelierData, this home in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park blends architecture with nature. Inspired by the voids between existing pine trees, the house features strategically placed volumes around a central clearing with a swimming pool, promoting outdoor living.
Constructed with sustainable materials like fluted metal sheets and projected cork, the design offers a natural aesthetic and efficient water drainage. Glazed surfaces with wooden shutters provide warmth and filter sunlight, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
This project is a testament to sustainable design, where nature and architecture coexist in perfect harmony
